MARSSIM Support and Surveys to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Facilities Restoration Program – Richland and Sequim, WA

The scope encompassed buildings under U.S. DOE control, including three buildings in Richland, WA and two in Sequim, WA. The scope of work included providing support to aid in developing a Program Release Plan; performing and documenting Historical Site Assessments; developing Facility Survey Plans; and performing scoping, characterization, and final status surveys in each building. A position-correlated floor monitoring system was used for the final status surveys. Additionally, Ameriphysics developed a survey database linked to data-loading instrumentation to simplify the collection, documentation, and management of large amounts of survey data.
