September 24, 2011 - The buildings were previously used for radioactive medical research by an undisclosed federal client. The decontamination and decommissioning approach (D&D) described in the Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSSIM) was used by Ameriphysics to release the facility. Scoping surveys, characterization surveys, remediation, and final status surveys were performed. Onsite radiological services were managed by a Certified Health Physicist (CHP).
